Vitamin E for a Healthier Me

One of my goals for 2011 is to live a healthy lifestyle. I hate to admit it, but I’m not as young as I used to be. I get tired easily now and often experience body aches and pains. In short, I’m showing signs of aging.

In line with my objective of taking better care of my health, I started exercising last year. Nope, I do not follow a formal exercise program; I simply use the stairs every morning to go down and up to our condo unit.

I also changed our family’s weekly menu to include more fish and vegetables into our everyday meals. Because of this, my HDL cholesterol a.k.a. good cholesterol level significantly increased, which according to studies, may help prevent heart disease.

I now use an organic sweetener also, instead of sugar, for coffee, cereals, salads and fish and meat preparations. Natural sweeteners do not impact blood sugar levels the way white sugar does, and that’s healthy.

Last but not least, I started taking Vitamin E. We all know that Vitamin E is good for the skin. Not only does Vitamin E protect the skin from ultraviolet rays, pollution, drugs and other elements producing harmful free radicals, it also helps prevent diseases, such as cataracts, Parkinson’s disease and certain types of cancer.

My lifestyle changes have certainly affected my budget, but I don’t fret because I found an online health store that gives me value for my money.
