Room Service from Café on the 6th, Ascott Makati

I recently posted about our one-day stay in a studio room at Ascott Makati on my other blog. We were at Ascott Makati from March 31 to April 1, 2012 for my husband’s summer company outing. Ascott Makati is located at Glorietta 4, Ayala Center, Makati City.

Our stay included complimentary buffet breakfast for two. As much as I’d like to partake of this hearty breakfast, I simply couldn’t. It was a Sunday morning, but I had work to do, hence only my husband, son (kids below 6 years old get free breakfast!) and his yaya went down to Café on the 6th for breakfast.

I opted for room service breakfast instead. I told hubby to order bangus (milkfish) for me. My order arrived before 9am, but I ate this at around 10am.

Daing na Milkfish, Php368.13 plus room service charge

I love the crispy goodness of this Daing na Milkfish! The meat was succulent and tender, and it was seasoned well. I also liked that the fish fillets were large; I got four serving pieces. This came with garlic fried rice, which was not oily, by the way, fried egg, cucumber and tomato slices, and pickled green papaya relish (atsara), which was neither too sweet nor too sour. My morning was complete after devouring this gastronomic delight!
