We went home late last Friday after our ENT check-ups at Makati Medical Center. Because both SM Megamall and Robinsons Galleria were having a 3-day sale starting that day, we were caught up in heavy traffic. We arrived at Robinsons Galleria so hungry, and we decided to have dinner at Icebergs before going home. We had our usual orders (Icebergs Famous Sisig, Boneless Bangus Glazed in Adobo Mango Sauce and Salisbury Steak) and new orders (Hungarian Sausage & Mushroom Carbonara and Fresh Mango Iced Tea). I’ve already blogged about our usual orders here. What I’m going to talk about in this blog post are our new food and drink finds.

Our 6-year-old son loves carbonara. He’s had spaghetti carbonara in three different restaurants in the past, and he liked all of them. What’s different about this carbonara from Icebergs is that it uses Hungarian sausage, instead of bacon, and that makes this pasta dish more palatable.

We haven’t noticed this in our previous visits to Icebergs. Their menu says it’s a “House Special,” so we gave it a try. It’s home-brewed tea with fresh mango chunks. We all liked this refreshing iced tea with a twist. I likewise enjoyed scooping out the mango bits from the bottom of my glass. If you’re tired of the usual iced tea, then you should try this.
