Yesterday’s blistering heat had me scurrying towards Icebergs to have something cold and sweet. I ended up ordering their Super Halo-Halo, paired with something healthy, Tofu Teriyaki Steak.
This is the first time I ordered Icebergs’ Tofu Teriyaki Steak. It’s deep-fried tofu drizzled with special teriyaki sauce and served with sautéed bean sprout. It’s delightfully crunchy, and the sauce went well with the tofu. I wish there was more teriyaki sauce, though, to make it more appetizing and exciting.
And this is what I really came to Icebergs for, their Super Halo Halo! I love that it’s served on a big bowl that’s actually good for sharing, but I had this all to myself. Lol! I also don’t like Halo Halo with beans, so this one suits me perfectly. It has corn flakes, macapuno balls, red jelly, nata, peaches, leche flan, buko, langka, ube, saba banana and two scoops of ice cream. So sulit for only Php128!
I will surely come back to have more of Icebergs’ sweet summer coolers.
