Bag of Beans, Tagaytay

Another Instagram-worthy place that we’ve recently visited is Bag of Beans in Tagaytay.

It’s our first time in this restaurant, and I must admit, I’m smitten!

The place is spacious, warmly lit and cozy.

By the time we arrived at Bag of Beans, all three of us were already famished, so we greatly appreciated the complimentary bread and butter was we wait for our orders.

Complimentary bread and butter

The freshly baked bread was soft and warm, so perfect with that lightly seasoned butter. It was so good that we actually asked for extra bread. Lol!

Chicken Strips, Php310

Our 11-year-old son personally picked Chicken Strips from the menu for his dinner. I’m not sure if the dip that went with his chicken strips was tartar sauce or aioli, but Justin wouldn’t have any of it. He asked for ketchup instead for both his soft chicken fillet and crispy French fries. He’s okay with his order, though his buttered veggies remained untouched.

Tuna Belly, Php370

My Tuna Belly was grilled just right, still succulent with that rich smoky flavor. I would have wanted it drizzled with some lemony and garlicky sauce, though, instead of the mayo-based dip that it was served with.

Baby Back Ribs, Php475

Hubby’s Baby Back Ribs might not be the best he’s had but it was tender enough and tasted good enough for him, so all was well.

Blueberry Cheesecake, Php160 per slice

Smooth and creamy with generous blueberry toppings, this This Blueberry Cheesecake was equally enjoyed by father and son.

We want to go back here really soon!
