We stayed at Grand Hyatt Manila in Bonifacio Global City last May 22 to 23 for hubby’s company summer outing. After checking in and getting settled, we went to nearby Uptown Parade to find a place to eat. We agreed to have our late lunch at Denny’s.
Dipping in the sweet-and-tangy marinara sauce enhances the taste of these Mozzarella Cheese Sticks, which have a very mild taste when eaten on their own. These served to assuage our rumbling tummies while waiting for our meals.
This Creamy Bacon Carbonara was Justin’s choice. It’s spaghetti in Alfredo sauce with bacon bits, poached egg, and toast. He finished everything on his plate; he especially liked those crispy bacon bits.
Hubby’s lunch was Pork Belly and Eggs. It’s grilled pork chop with two eggs, garlic rice, and fresh tomato salsa. Judging from how clean his plate was after eating, I guess he enjoyed it to bits.
This Crispy Bangus Belly was basically the same as hubby’s order, except that it had fried bangus belly, instead of grilled pork chop, and vinegar dip. I loved how runny those eggs were! I would have enjoyed this more if served without the garlic bits. I actually prefer my fried bangus belly plain and smothered with spiced vinegar.
We didn’t order desserts anymore because our young man wanted to have ice cream at Uptown Mall. So, did we enjoy our lunch at Denny’s? Yes, we did!
