Filipino-style Sweet Macaroni Salad

The first time I prepared this Filipino-style Sweet Macaroni Salad was last New Year’s Eve. My husband enjoyed it a lot that he requested I make it again for my birthday last January 31. He said he prefers his macaroni salad this way. I also like this more than the Classic Macaroni Salad. So here’s the super simple recipe for one delightful dessert for the whole family.

Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 8 to 10 minutes

Ingredients:
250g ditalini or elbow macaroni
220ml Lady’s Choice mayonnaise
370ml Alaska Crema-Asada
432g Fruit cocktail, fully drained
340g Nata de coco, fully drained
340g Kaong, fully drained
430g Eden filled cheese, diced

This photo shows a 400g pack of macaroni, but I did not use all of it for my salad. I set aside some of it for my Chicken Macaroni Soup. I also only used 2/3 of the cheese, too.

Cooking instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions then rinse in cold water and drain.
2. Put all the solid ingredients in a mixing bowl.
3. Add mayonnaise and Alaska Crema-Asada.
4. Mix well.
5. Chill first before serving.

It’s super easy to do! You can also use other ingredients in your sweet macaroni salad, like raisins or grapes.
