Banapple at Ayala Triangle Gardens

We went to Ayala Triangle Gardens two Saturdays ago to stroll around and to check out new dining destinations. We ended up having early dinner at Banapple. We had Banapple Beef and Sausage Stew, Breaded Fillet of Cream Dory with Honey Thyme Mustard Sauce, aked Creamy Cheesy Penne and Banoffee Pie.

Banapple Beef and Sausage Stew, Php225.00

Hubby’s order was Banapple Beef and Sausage Stew, a dish highly recommended by our food server. This is stewed beef cubes and sausages, served with butter-glazed carrots and seasoned garlic rice. Here are the things he enjoyed about his meal. First, the tasty garlic rice was served hot, and the serving was quite generous. Second, he liked the combined flavors of beef and sausages. Third, the price was very reasonable.

Breaded Fillet of Cream Dory with Honey Thyme Mustard Sauce, Php215.00

Now this Breaded Fillet of Cream Dory with Honey Thyme Mustard Sauce was mine. This is herb-crusted cream dory fish fillet drizzled with honey thyme mustard sauce and served with butter-glazed carrots. It’s yummy, and my son agrees! It’s crispy outside and soft and succulent inside. The honey thyme mustard sauce is also a perfect complement to it.

Baked Creamy Cheesy Penne, Php215.00

Our young man preferred pasta over rice, so he tried this Baked Creamy Cheesy Penne which combines penne pasta, Hungarian sausages, white cheese sauce and tomato sauce. He gave it a thumbs up!

Banoffee Pie, Php115.00 per slice

This Banoffee Pie has Graham crackers, bananas, two layers of dulce de leche and dark chocolate strips. I wasn’t really in the mood for desserts anymore as I was already full and satisfied from the breaded cream dory fillet that I’ve had, but who was I to resist free food? Lol! Hubby liked it, but I found it a little too sweet.

Overall, we enjoyed the food at Banapple, as well as the generous servings and the affordable price.
