While sorting through my food photos, I came across this one, my dinner plate from Vietnamese noodle house Pho Hoa, which was taken late afternoon of March, 2016. This was what I had for dinner, Com Thit Nuong Cha Gio, one of their bestsellers.
Com Thit Nuong Cha Gio is simply grilled pork with fried spring rolls and rice. The grilled pork bits are similar to our pork liempo, except that this consisted of lean meat only. The meat is succulent, and the dipping sauce (most probably Vietnamese dipping fish sauce) makes it more appetizing and palatable. I don’t exactly remember how the spring rolls tasted like, but I do remember enjoying my meal. And that hefty serving of rice made me giddier! Lol!
